What is Passive Morphing technology?

Morphing refers to a continuous transformation of shape.

In the realm of aerodynamics or hydrodynamics, it denotes the ability to undergo a seamless alteration in camber.

In the context of my patented innovation, known as Passive Morphing, it signifies an uninterrupted adjustment of camber brought about by operational conditions. This morphing phenomenon arises from the external forces exerted on the profile by aerodynamic or hydrodynamic pressures. Notably, there is no internal actuation or deliberate shape control mechanism involved.

The configuration of the Passive Morphing profile is dictated by the external forces and is regulated by the angle of attack.

Embracing Nature's Wisdom.

The graceful and efficient movements of fish in water have always been a source of wonder. Whether observing the synchronized dance of a school of fish or the sheer determination of salmon swimming against the current, the underwater realm offers endless inspiration for cutting-edge technologies.

It was amidst a serene riverside contemplation that the concept of passive morphing technology was conceived, inspired by the innate agility displayed by fish.

As a dedicated advocate of biomimicry, I have long been fascinated by the ingenious solutions found in nature, each one more elegant and efficient than the last.

By delving into the biomechanics of fish swimming, I focused on the intricate fin-ray patterns of their caudal fins and translated this natural phenomenon into a practical industrial design.

Passive Morphing serves as a testament to the potential of biomimicry, embodying the essence of innovation at Ex Creatio.
